One of the main reasons I work with Racoon Hair Extensions is that they are one of the most ethical hair extensions companies in the world today. Racoon work alongside a supplier who has been sourcing hair for 60 years, and have very strict guidelines to ensure the best quality hair is sourced and delivered.

The hair we use is sourced from Indian temples through a donation of hair, often referred to as tonsuring. Tonsuring is a time-honoured Hindu tradition dating back thousands of years, where people donate their hair as a sacrifice to the Gods to give thanks or ask for help. Temples then use the money from the sale of the hair to feed the poor and to provide resources for their communities.

Racoon International is the only dedicated hair extensions company to achieve the British Standards Institute ISO 9001 accreditation (BSI kite market of quality) and has maintained it for the past 5 years. Every Year Racoon are audited by the BSI and they have to prove that they manage our suppliers to achieve the delivery of quality products at a suitable price for delivery to our Customers, they then have to also prove that their Customers are satisfied with their products via in depth Customer Survey mechanisms.
